You probably already know how many creative things are made from your plastic garbage from my previous post! So, let’s save the planet by using more of these cool products made from recycled plastics below!
The ‘Get to the Shopper’ bag.
What can be better than showing off a classy but sustainable shopping bag? You will impress your friends with this fashionable Get to the shopper bag created by the Ahimsa Collective organization. What makes this bag outstanding? It is specially made with washable paper and covered with 100% ecoprene, obtained from recycled plastic bottles. The company also manufactures other trendy clutch and tote bags from sustainable materials.
Ocean-friendly dog collars
An RSPCA Veterinarian, Stephanie Stubbe, is the proud founder of the Anipal company in Australia. She was inspired to set up the business after saving the lives of numerous wildlife animals suffering alarming injuries caused by human pollution. Her company transforms ocean plastic waste into recycled pet products such as pet collars!
Natural and recycled shoes
Have you ever heard of natural shoes? The Allbirds company in Australia is a popular manufacturer of very comfortable shoes and clothing made from sustainable wool, cardboard and eucalyptus. Interestingly, all its raw materials are purely natural! Can you imagine how beneficial this company is to our planet, as 1 recycled plastic bottle is equivalent to 1 pair of shoe laces? It also uses 60% less energy and has lower greenhouse gas emissions during its manufacturing process.
Preserve – POPi safety razors
Another interesting idea to save our planet is to remove plastics from the ocean and transform them into cool razors, toothbrushes and tableware! One example is the excellent next-generation razor, POPi shave 5, produced by the Preserve company. These razors are not only stylish but also effective and long-lasting. They also have nickel-free blades to prevent allergic reactions. By the way, POPi stands for the Preserve Ocean Plastic initiative. It is an ecological campaign started by the preserve company in partnership with a few beach cleaning companies.
Green toys for kids
Even our kids can help in saving the environment by playing with the recycled plastic seaplane created by the Green Toys company. The company is USA-based and makes kids’ toys from recycled plastic milk jugs. Its toys are durable, fun and perfect for imaginative play! These recycled toys are also non-toxic and FDA-approved for safe contact.
Recover’s sports collection T-shirt.
Have you ever thought of doing outdoor sports and hiking in a sustainable fashion? You can certainly make it possible with Recover Inc creations. This fantastic company produces women’s and men’s clothes from cotton and polyester made from recycled plastic bottles and packaging. It is also energy, water and land saving and produces less carbon dioxide emissions. In addition, you will love its delightful, soft, breathable and very comfortable sports T-shirt collection! Suitable for all activities, these t-shirts are high-quality and low-priced.
Noho’s stylish chair
Why should sustainable furniture lag behind? The combination of creative thinking and diligent research led to the invention of the very fashionable move chair by the Noho company. Fascinatingly, the company recovers waste ghost fishing nets to make recycled ECONYL nylon. Then, it produces the move chairs from recycled nylon! The chair is ergonomically designed to move and flex with your body, providing support and comfort. The Noho’s move chairs are also very light and are easily moved around!
Zogoflex and seaflex dog toys
The West Paw company makes eco-friendly pet toys out of recycled plastics. Interestingly, the company’s toys are soft because they are made from recycled polyester! For instance, the Seaflex and zogoflex chew toys are very entertaining to pets as they are bouncy and attractive. They are also non-toxic and recyclable into new toys!
Have you ever tried to use these fantastic recycled products? I am inspired by the POPi safety razors and the Recover’s sports T-shirt. Which products would you like to use for a more sustainable world in the future? I will write about even more interesting recycled products later. Please share your comments below!
